We just repainted Eliška's room from the hideous red that it was before. It looks a lot calmer now. Anyway, the girls are sharing a room during this little renovation & wow, what a nightmare! They are finally asleep after giggling, throwing stuffed animals everywhere, & telling them to go to bed 20 times! We went in just now & they had strewn baby wipes all over the room. I don't think we'll be trying this again for a while. I do want them to share a room eventually, we'll see!
added note:
this morning they woke up @ 5:30, giggling

Yes, it is hard having them share a room. I am surprised they were so naughty though. Usually my kids play for awhile, read, or talk, and then go to bed. They are pretty good about it, but they have been sharing a room their whole life. Sometimes they are just really tired and poop out. But I do have to go in there about 3 times. Good Luck! I can't wait to see you in 3.5 days!!
That's why I never had Ian and Justin share a room. I knew I would get zero sleep. Whenever we are on vacation they stay up most of the night being loud, jumping around, etc. all because they are in the same room. Anyway Caden and Ian share but since Caden is older it works out great. Someday I'm hoping Ian and Justin can, we'll see if I ever get the guts to even try it.
Let's see pictures of the new room! My girls were the same way when they started sharing a room. They still have a rough night every now and then, but they're usually really good about going to sleep now.
Yes, it seemed to take about 2 weeks for mine to settle down. Now I find them both curled up in the same bed.
I can't wait to see pics!
