Tangled Movie Night

We had a fun little "screening" of Tangled when the DVD came out. We moved the couches like a theater, borrowed a friend's popcorn machine and had the girls "buy" movie candy with tickets that they earned from doing chores. It was really fun, the girls are obsessed with all things Tangled!

Dan made this fun little sign, it says "Now Showing" with lights blinking around it and then you can post a picture of what movie you're showing. He made the image on the computer and then sent it in to Costco where they print it out for you to pick up. Then we just got a frame from Ikea and Dan drilled holes on the edges for Christmas lights to poke through.

my little girl

I just love my little Eliska! I am so proud of her! She is loosing teeth like crazy, 5 so far (3 in one week!). She is doing so well at school. She won first place in her class speech contest. Her speech was so adorable, she practiced every night with hand movements and actions. But when she went to round two, competing against all the other kindergarten class winners, she didn't do any of her actions or even smile! Oh well, she said she got a little nervous because there were so many people watching. She is going to make the change to public school in the fall and we are trying to get her to skip first grade. She will be taking a test with the school psychologist this week, so we will see if she can move into second grade. She is so tall and skinny, she is growing like a weed! She eats a lot, but it does not show.
