Girl's Bedding

I have been trying to decide which bedding to get for the girls' room. I just cannot decide! Please tell me which one(s) you like best, I need opinions (I've labeled them numbers 1-5). I'm leaning towards a pink wall color because it's easier to find accessories for girls that go with pink. I am planning on having the girls share a room eventually with 2 twin beds. I think I will just get them both the same bedding, I'm not sure. Anyway, here's what I've narrowed it down to...

Emma's Sleeping!!!

Yes, that definitely deserves 3 exclamation marks. It has been a week since I started sleep training Emma and she is now sleeping through the night! It's wonderful, I'm starting to return to a full functioning person. It actually took less than a week. Some nights she will still wake up between 3 and 5 am, but she just cries a little and then goes right back to sleep. I really should have done this earlier, I just felt bad for her teething pain. Dan put a black sheet over her window too, so that helps her sleep longer. Anyway, life is good! (By the way, this picture is actually Eliška)

Easter

I know it's a bit late, but we left for California right after Easter. So, I'm just now getting a chance to post pictures!This was the first Easter that Eliška was somewhat aware of the holiday. She loved dying eggs.

California

I had such a good trip to California. It was so nice to visit Valerie and the girls.cute cousins
My mom & I drove by our old neighborhood. It was fun to reminisce & drive by our old house.
This is at the first wedding, Lora & Mark's. The reception was at her parent's house, it was beautiful.
Lora is a great dancer, especially when it comes to swing. Mark is really good too, I was impressed!
It was great to get this picture of my high school friends. We used to always hang out together.
We visited my brother's grave, which was actually really nice and uplifting.
We all shared stories about Darin. It was very emotional, but good.

Yummy...

I found these yummy fruit sorbet cups in the canned fruit aisle at the grocery store the other week. It is not frozen until you put it in your freezer at home. It kind of looks like a cup of applesauce until it's frozen. There's strawberry and raspberry, mango is my favorite. It is so good, it's perfect for that late night ice cream craving!

Funny Girl

Here are some silly moments brought to you by my 2 yr. old...A diaper can double as a hat (I love Emma laughing in the back!)
When I went to get Eliška up from her nap the other day, I was surprised to find her sleeping with nothing on but her diaper! It was precious.

Back to Blogging

Sorry, I have been M.I.A. with blogging lately! I have been so busy traveling, I'm just now starting to get back to my normal schedule. I first went to California with Emma for one of my best friend's wedding. It was crazy flying by myself with Emma, it'll be a long while before I ever attempt that again! Then Dan & I drove out to California with the 2 girls in tow for my other best friend's wedding! It actually was not bad at all, I was pleasantly surprised. The only thing is that it's so long from Utah to California, you really get cramped after a few hours on the road. I actually enjoy road trips, we always drove growing up. I love the beautiful scenery and rocking out to my favorite mix CD's! But, I am so glad to be home now! Now I have to get down to business and work on some projects...

Tonight I am starting the sleep training, I will update on that tomorrow with how it's going. I'm just so tired, I can't take it anymore! I will download my camera hopefully tomorrow and post pictures of my trips to California. As for now, I need to post some older pictures.
