fun, fun!

I'm sure a lot of you have experienced the joy of your child taking their diaper off and going potty in the crib. I should've seen this coming, Emma's been taking her diaper off during the day. How smart was I to put her down with no pants on! Poop everywhere in the crib, I've learned my lesson. Back to onesies...

conquering the automatic flusher

Wellworth(R) The Complete Solution(TM) round-front toilet with left-hand trip lever
So today's big event was Eliška going potty at Target, yay!! She has finally overcome her fear of store toilets that have an automatic flusher. Can I tell you how much I hate those things! They keep flushing while she's going potty & scaring her to death, she has been so terrified of them until now.

backyardigans

The girls have been wanting to play outside pretty much everyday as soon as they wake up. We made friends with our next door neighbors, so they are having a lot of fun. They were so nice & got all the girls bug catchers the other day & we all caught some ladybugs. They took them inside for a bit & accidentally let them out , they just sat there screaming, they were totally freaked out! Then as soon as I got them inside, they wanted to look at their "pets" again, I thought it was hilarious. We have since let them go, so they can have a break from being tortured (Emma likes to shake her bug catcher around).

Happy Mudder's Day!

That's what Eliška said when she woke me up today, so cute! She then whispered, "I have a special surprise for your Birthday, mommy!" Then I was showered with cards, flowers & raspberry muffins. I love being a mommy even though it's the most challenging thing I've ever done. Happy Mother's Day to everyone! Especially to my mom who is my best friend & the person I turn to for support because I know she's gone through everything that I'm dealing with! I love you mom so much! I can't wait to see you this week! I'm grateful to have such a great mother-in-law too, who we will be seeing in a few weeks as well!

California Adventure (Days 4 & 5)

Here are the last pictures of our trip. I can't wait to go back, we made so many memories! A really sweet older man came up to me & was like, "That's how I'll always picture my daughters, as little girls at that age. Just make sure you cherish everyday with them." The way he said it was so sincere, It just really moved me. I almost cried just picturing them grow up! That's why I loved this trip, everything was so magical & real to them.

The Happiest Place on Earth (Day 2)

The last time I went to Disneyland was 91' & Dan & the girls have never been, so we had a lot of fun. We went to Disney World with my family in 06' so we were familiar with the Magic Kingdom which is pretty much the same as Disneyland. This time was a lot better though because I didn't have a baby to nurse & the kids were able to go on more rides.

We first went to a breakfast with Minnie Mouse & her friends

my 'mini' Minnies

Emma loved seeing all the characters, she would wave & say "hi bebe!" (that's what she calls her stuffed animals)

we saw so many characters!

Captain Hook

Dale

Emma took a lot of naps while waiting in all of the lines

Eliška was so excited to see the castle

Emma was kind of scared of the carousel!

We rode every single ride in Fantasyland! Emma loved Dumbo

Eliška's favorite ride was the tea-cups, we went on them 3 times

the white rabbit's house

it was neat to see Mary Poppins & Bert on the Carousel

Eliška's cheering for Mary Poppins with Alice & the Mad Hatter

nothing better than a kid with ice cream at Disneyland!

that's one happy child!

waiting for the parade

The parades were my favorite thing, they were all amazing! The girls absolutely loved pointing out all their favorite characters
