Jackson Hole, Wyoming

After Yellowstone, we went to Jackson Hole with Dan's family to see the Bar-J Wranglers western show & chuckwagon dinner. It's a tradition of theirs. We toured the town a bit, shopped, took a stagecoach ride, & had lunch with my old pal Jeremiah who is working & performing at the Jackson Hole Playhouse.

Yellowstone

We had such a great time at Yellowstone! I have always loved going to National Parks as a kid, so I figured it was time to continue the tradition with my own kids. We drove up to Idaho Falls first & stayed at my in-laws house for a bit. Then we camped near the west entrance at Madison. It rained a few nights, but our tent stayed nice & dry. It was gorgeous! It was so refreshing to be out in nature & to enjoy the beauty of this country. Very fitting for Independence Day.

smores! best part of camping

Just walking down the trail & boom! a bison right there in the middle. Looked pretty cool in the steam.

Happy 3rd Birthday, Emma!

We had fun on Em's B-day. We saw ice age 3, went to the Disney store, the zoo on Friday, & cake with family on Saturday. She got a doll that swims in the water, baby play stuff, clothes, & some stuffed animals. Can't believe my baby's 3!

lots of posts!

I need a vacation!

Group of four people watching geyser erupt. A Grizzly Bear sow keeps careful watch over her two cubs.

Now that El & I are done with school, things are settling down a bit. So it's time for a much needed vacation! I'm having fun planning a trip to Idaho Falls, Jackson Hole, & Yellowstone at the end of this month. I love Yellowstone, I haven't been there since I was a kid. We're going to do a stage coach ride, boat tour of Yellowstone Lake, hikes, Old Faithful of course, Western cook-out/show, fireworks, swimming, & a bunch of other stuff. I am literally counting down the days till I'm off work & on this trip! Should be fun :)

My Graduation

Yay! I'm done with my dental assisting program! It was great, I learned so much & it has opened up a lot of opportunities for me already. There are tons of jobs in this field, so it's great to have some kind of career I can fall back on now. I loved my teachers, they were awesome! And my classmates were great. I am happy to be done with going to school all night straight from work & not seeing my family at all! Special thanks to Dan & my mom for supporting me during these long hours!

obedience school

Dan has been taking Wilbs to obedience school every Tuesday night at "Puppenshnoodles". After they complete this course, they can go on to Agility training. It is going well, I am very impressed with his progress. He still has a long way to go though! I wish I could go to the class, but I have to work till 7 on Tuesdays :(

country Fair

I had to go to Eagle Mountain's Pony Express Days Fair to run my dental office's booth & make/hand out popcorn (I have several burns from this experience) & pass out toothbrushes. So we let the kids go on a few podunk rides for being good sports throughout the day.
