Well I almost gave up yesterday after 4 accidents before 10 am! But, I got a renewal of patience and today has been better (only 2 accidents so far). Luckily they were all on the tile, so easy clean up. Potty-training is hard work! I know most of you have successfully potty-trained your kids, please help me, I need advice! How long does it take? I was secretly hoping it would be 1 day or maybe a week. Please tell me it gets better! We've been watching, "Elmo's Potty Time" which has helped her remember. Any other good videos or books you know of? Well, I am not giving up with this. Hopefully she will be trained by her Birthday next month, we'll see.

I'd like to tell you a for sure way to potty train that works every time. However, I know by experience that there isn't any. Both my older kids were so much easier and I had a much harder time with my younger boys. I'm sure you've heard all the ideas, but each kid is just so different. I think the one that works best is what your doing, putting them in real underwear instead of pullups. Your doing great, hang in there, it'll happen soon!
Just be consistent! It's so easy to say "oh, I'm running to the store, so she can just wear a pullup for now". But that really confuses the kid and makes it a lot harder in the long run (trust me, I made this mistake with Alli!) Just keep checking every 1/2 hour to hour and praise the heck out of her every time she goes. Ugh -- I really didn't like potty training! Good luck!
