That's what El calls Lagoon, she has a little trouble with her "L's". We had tons of fun, especially with Kassidy, our niece & best baby-sitter ever! Wicked was SO fun, I love roller coasters! I always get totally freaked out right before, but I always want to ride again afterward! El was non-stop, she HAD to go on every single ride, so funny! Em was tall enough for most of them too. Kass forced us to go on Rattlesnake Rapids & I was happy I didn't get wet- until the waterfall at the end! I had to change I was so drenched!

Finally, it's done!! I have been wanting to do this girls room forever & have been saving up tons of stuff to go in it for a while now. So I am so happy it's done! I'm in love with it, it's the little girl room I always wanted. I plan on getting a cute flower rug that I've been eying at Target & I still need to order the bed frame that I want (thanks mom so much for the mattress!!) & we plan on doing a white wood wainscot on the bottom white section of the walls. Now I'm in a real painting mood & plan to paint the main floor walls & upstairs hallways, now I just have to convince Dan to start another project with me! The girls have been loving sharing their room now & have been sleeping pretty well. Now I have an empty nursery & it is kind of depressing! I haven't had an empty crib in years, it is really strange.

Pioneer Day

We had fun on the 24th with a BBQ & fireworks at my parents house. Dan & my brother Jeff were the firework pros, it was very entertaining! We had fun with family friends, the Van Frankens too, they've pretty much been adopted into our family! Emma did her first Sparkler & loved it!

I finally finished this picture board for Eliška's room, I love how it turned out! It's just a bulletin board with some batting, fabric, ribbon, & buttons. You can slip pictures & stuff into the ribbon (I'm sure you've all seen these before). Then my mother-in-law came over to help me figure out my new sewing machine that Dan gave me for our Anniversary. When she comes back we're going to make some pillows out of the same fabric from the board & some softie dolls. I can't wait! I really am quite a beginner, but so far it's not too hard, I just need to practice. Now I just need to paint Eliška's room & order her bed & mattress. I'm excited to get some new hobbies going, especially since Eliška's going to pre-school next month, I'll have a little more free time!

Katie's Wedding

Dan's sister just got married last Saturday, it was great to see everyone from his family! Katie & Kevin are so happy, congratulations guys!

Bond Family Reunion 2008

It was so fun to have my family together for a little reunion, we haven't all been together in quite some time. We went to 7 peaks, 4th of July party, dinosaur museum, pictures done with the grandkids & celebrated 3 Birthdays (mom, Em, Val). It was a ton of fun & great to see my brother Jeff! The 4 granddaughters get pretty wild when they're together & Logan (mom's dog) ran away several times while my parents were moving into their new house. I'm so excited to have them living here now, I keep forgetting that they're only 10 minutes away! Miss you Valerie, Callie, & Kenzie, come & visit us again soon!!
