Happy Anniversary!

I really can't believe we've been married for 4 years today! It's amazing how much has happened since we met in Provo. I'm so grateful for such a great husband, we have made so many great memories over the years. Dan got us tickets to see Tim Mcgraw & Faith Hill in concert on Monday, it should be a lot of fun. Love you, Dan!

Girl's Room

So here's the bedding I got for the girls. I found it at Target and it is so adorable! Plus it is less than half the price of the Pottery Barn quilts I was looking at and just as nice in quality!
Here are the sheets that go with it...

Now I just need to get beds, mattresses & paint. There are so many things to get, it really adds up, especially when you have to get 2 of everything! Thankfully we have time before we need everything, since Eliška is still in her toddler bed and Emma's still in the crib. I like this bed from Jc Penney & it's the best price I've seen. I still am contemplating bunk beds.

Okay, you're really going to make fun of me!

As some of you know, I tend to be a bit of a "home body". So, today was the first time I have ever gone shopping with both girls alone! I have been putting it off because I have been really nervous. Plus Dan gets home at 3:30, so we usually just all go together or I go by myself after the girls are asleep. So I decided it was finally time today. We went to the local supermarket and I was very surprised at how smoothly things went. The girls had a blast sitting next to each other in the "car" cart with a double steering wheel. Usually we have Eliška in the "car" cart and Emma in the front of the basket. They tore through my purse, which was a big treat for them. They took out all my credit cards, sunglasses, chapstick, keys, and cellphone (which Emma drooled on & now doesn't seem to work!). It created an hour of entertainment for them both. There were no tantrums, no crying, and no begging to buy a toy or a candy. I think I will definitely be going out more with them, now that I've tested the waters! I will post new pictures soon, we have been busy gardening and finishing up our landscaping.
